Itinerary

Explore the history and beauty of the Sacred Valley with this incredible tour. Begin in Chinchero, a traditional Andean town, where you'll visit its colonial church and learn about textile art from expert weavers. Then, visit Moray, an impressive Inca agricultural laboratory with one-of-a-kind circular terraces.

Continue to Maras, famous for its terraced salt mines, a natural and cultural spectacle still in use since pre-Inca times. Finally, arrive at Ollantaytambo, a living Inca city with imposing ruins and cobblestone streets steeped in history.

At the end of the tour, we'll drop you off at the Ollantaytambo train station, ideal for those continuing their journey to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a day filled with culture, stunning landscapes, and the magic of the Sacred Valley. An experience not to be missed!

The journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas begins at 7:00 a.m. With pickup from your hotel in Cusco, depending on your location, we will begin the tour with a visit to Chinchero, a charming Andean town known for its textile traditions and artisan market. We will visit its colonial church, built on Inca remains, and enjoy a traditional weaving demonstration performed by local artisans.
Our next stop will be Moray, a fascinating archaeological complex composed of circular terraces in natural depressions. This site was used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory for experimenting with crops in different microclimates. Our professional guide will explain its function and the advanced engineering used by the Incas.

Then, we will head to Maras, home to the famous salt mines, a collection of thousands of pools used for salt extraction since pre-Inca times. We will have time to explore the site, capture spectacular photographs, and, if desired, purchase products made with this natural salt.

Finally, we will arrive at Ollantaytambo, an impressive archaeological complex and one of the few Inca villages still inhabited. We'll explore its imposing terraces, temples, and cobblestone alleyways, where the Inca past comes alive. At the end of the tour, passengers will be dropped off at the Ollantaytambo train station, ideal for those continuing their journey to Machu Picchu.
